Good Morning Saturday

Postby JoM » 26 Nov 2016, 07:29

Good morning all! It's too dark to see what the weather's doing!

We're taking Billy out shortly, and then it's home to cut Tom's hair. We'll call in to see my parents this afternoon and Tom needs a lift back to Wolverhampton when his shift ends.

Have a good one!

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another sunny day. Had a text from Chris yesterday afternoon to say they would be over today to get the driveway finished and lay the new grass in the back garden. We've only paid a deposit so I'm guessing he wants to get paid and will be as keen as we are to see it all done......fingers crossed no more hiccups.

Usual washing and house stuff for me, but we do plan to walk over to the garden centre later and look at Christmas lights. We've never really been able to have lights outside, too much hassle for E, but being in a bungalow changes that so we'd quite like a few around the bay. Definitely not Blackpool illuminations, just a few to go with my door wreath and hanging basket

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Fingers crossed Jen XX

We have sunshine Jo, hope you do too :) Have a good one xx

You too Ton, have a good day :)

Well the sun is shining, which is always good news on a Saturday, so we can enjoy it whilst out and about. Becky is off to see her dad for a few days this afternoon. Harry lost his phone last night, thinks he left it on the train home! So we've had all that to sort out, or rather poor Mick has as the contract is in his name, so he had to ring to get it locked etc. We're getting H a cheap SIM to put in an old phone so he isn't without, while it all gets sorted, B can take it across with her  Otherwise it's the usual sort of Saturday here :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all. Jo, I always think what a happy dog Billy looks. Ton, chicken curry!
Son went out to a gig in Leeds last night to see the Cortinas, whoever they are. Great gig apparently and in the box next to theirs was Paul Scholes, ex-Man United and England footballer.
He was very nice, had his photo taken with the lads but turned down an offer to turn out for Crofton FC this weekend! :D They even said they'd get him some boots an' all! ;)
Not much on here today, MrsC is off to get her dad his Saturday fish an chips soon.

Have a good one everybody.

Morning all, it's dull but dry here and a little bit milder. No major plan for the day, but I want to go to the local market and buy a photograph of the area for a wedding present, a very talented young local photographer has a stall there. We are going to Mr. Osc's niece's wedding in three weeks' time. We gave her brother a similar present for his wedding in September and he loved it. December is filling up fast for us, we have something on every weekend, the time is flying by too fast

Strictly this evening, and I am going to knit a little pair of mittens for Kellie, I made her a hat last night and there is loads of wool left over. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday :)

Well, that's 2 loads of washing out, house cleaned, now what do I do??

Heel rather tight this morning, Saundra - as it's sunny, I'm able to keep flip-flops on. The bruise has now spread to both sides of my ankles

Morning :)
Dull , cold and still extremely blowy here, it's not tempting me.
Went to bed a bit late last night, followed by being a bit late up, and an unusually lazy morning :)
Yesterday was our support group meeting, we had a talk/workshop with a nutritional therapist which was really interesting and enjoyable. It's a career I'd have absolutely loved but had no idea years ago that such things existed :?

Glad you've got a gorgeous day Saundra, you seem to have been missing out :D
Ton you've been so busy since you moved you're not used to being at a loose end, you'll have to take up crochet or something :)
That's a lovely wedding present Osc :)
Cromwell I guess that probably made their night :)
Oh well at least it's handy B is going Kaz, so can take a phone. Shame they can't have them on elastic, like we did with mitts :D
Jen I do hope they get finished and you can have it all to yourselves now x

I'm sitting here for a while with a yummy coffee, Bb's out working and will bring our pizza back with him - can't have a Strictly Saturday without our pizza :D

No sunshine here Kaz but it's dry so that's all that matters!

Thanks Cromwell, he is a happy dog! He's got it pretty good here! Great to hear that your lad met Scholesy, he's a big favourite in our house so it's lovely hear that he's a good bloke. BTW you're showing your age - it's Courteeners :P ;)

Osc, that'll make a lovely present!

Oh heck Kaz, any chance it's been handed in this morning?

Funny you say that Di, the main character in a book I'm reading is an aromatherapist and I was only thinking last night that's it's a job that wasn't around years ago.
