Butchers food

Postby Gal » 19 Feb 2013, 20:38

Blimmin cat!! He's been eating this now for a couple of weeks, at first I mixed it into his favourite As Good as it Looks Felix pouches, then I gave him a pouch for one meal and a dish of Butchers the next - all of which he woofed down.

Yesterday I put the Butchers down and he sniffed it and turned away  Oh he's ok with the Felix, then he turned his nose up at the biscuits! Jeez! What do you have to do???

Also he has been a bit less playful than normal, enjoying lots of snoozing, but happy to jump about when catnip treats are on offer, or he decides he'd like a look outside - just keeping an eye out for the time being :)

You'd think!

However.....he has been unusually sleepy this past couple of days, not coming to meet me like usual, or leaping up at the door to be with me on a morning ....then this morning he had been sick and there was blood in his poo....so off to the vets.

He's had a couple of injections and I have to starve him for 24 hours and he has to stay in.....wish me luck!! I was really upset this morning, I'm not 100% myself today and it is a sad anniversary as well :(

Thanks everyone for the hugs - he's slept much of the afternoon according to Nurse Jen, LOL, but he has really perked up this evening!! I have shouted at him for ages to get down off things, to stop chewing my ornaments and getting rubbish out of the waste bin to knock around the floor

It's lovely though :D
