Can't believe two weeks have gone by already We were actually worried a month might be a bit too long and now we're thinking it's all flying past too fast. Definitely will be considering booking for longer next year.
We're staying on the south coast and have found it really friendly. Most days have been spent lazing on the beach, usually finished off with a few drinks during happy hour which starts at 5pm. Everyone is so friendly and we've met some lovely people. Trips so far http://www.stnicholasabbey.com/ which in spite of the name has nothing to do with religion, it's a sugar plantation and they still produce a rather special rum. Of course we had to sample a few We also drove along the east coast which is quite spectacular and stopped here for lunch at Bathsheba http://barbados.org/bathsheb.htm Friday was spent mooching round Bridgetown.
Today we're on the west coast at The Colony Club and have just had a yummy lunch
Most of the hotels here lay on a big buffet on Sundays and this one gets great reviews. If you're into seafood you couldn't possibly be disappointed, Mr.J was in his element. We're both totally stuffed right now. I'm also taking advantage of their internet as it's not good where we're staying, very unreliable.http://www.colonyclubhotel.com/?gclid=CIbp4d6EvrUCFUVN4AodIj8AJA
Hope everyone's keeping well
