Frank my mam made the best Yorkies ever and she ALWAYS put the batter in the fridge for a couple of hours before cooking.

I think it's what you are used to :D

Gal, Gal, Gal.

Yorkshires were invented long before refrigerators so putting them in the fridge must be wrong.

But then your mum is not a Yorkie, so she is probably making Durham dumplings.

I'll go quietly. :P

Lipstick Lady star baker! :o :D :D

Jane... oh Jane. She keeps making disasters and then doing brilliantly with her 2nd attempts... and Paul loves her flavour combinations. Hmm

That's twice she's won star baker now isn't it? I just can't warm to her.

I see Paul's off to Channel 4 but Mary isn't going out of loyalty to the BBC.

It was a given though wasn't it, him going with the show. Wonder who will be the other judge.

The BBC (Balding Broadcasting Corporation) strikes again.
I was watching Breakfast whilst on the treadmill and there was a piece about Arnold Palmer, they showed a pic of him recently and there was good old Clare on the pic...so I was there on the treadmill rolling my eyes when they switched to the next subject. Dan (?) started talking about the next guest, saying that she's a sports pundit with her own chat show who's now written a book for children.... and there she was on the sofa!

See, she's even taking over this thread!
