The Borgias

A new drama series on Pick TV. :o

First episode last night was quite good, trouble is that it is on from 10pm to 11pm, so a bit late.

Is this the one that was on Sky Atlantic with Jeremy Irons as Alexander VI? It was good. If I can find Pick TV I'll watch it again.

That's the one Liz, Pick used to be Sky Freeview, Sky 3?

It is very opulent, moody, dark.

I really enjoyed it when I watched it first time round. I'd never heard of the young actor who plays Cesare but he's very good and the girl who plays Lucrezia is so beautiful. I usually like dramas like this to be historically accurate, but I'm prepared to suspend belief on this occasion. For me The Tudors was unwatchable because of the liberties taken with historical accuracy, so I can't really explain why I don't feel the same about The Borgias.

I found Pick and have set it to record. I've missed the first episode but that doesn't matter as I've seen it before.
