Good morning all.

It looks like it's going to rain here soon. but we're not going anywhere today.
We will leaving tomorrow for a weekend visit to a place called Lavenham in Suffolk, to attend a relative's wedding,
so you won't be hearing from me again until Monday.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Good afternoon all! After quite a bright start it's now pouring down here. I managed to walk for 4 miles with Billy and get the lawns cut before it started (well, that's a slight lie, it started just as I finished the side garden so I cut the back garden lawns while it was spitting).

Nearly got run over as I walked back with Billy. We had new people move in further down the close last year, their house is on a corner where another street cuts in. They're so ignorant. They're a couple in their 40s I'd say, with two teenage sons and they rarely speak or even smile. I actually made a point of telling John the other day that the man had said hello, but I think it was only because he had a gardener there trimming a hedge, they were stood talking as I walked past and the gardener said hello first so I don't think he felt he had much choice otherwise he'd look rude. Anyway, I walked around the corner just as he was coming out of his door. He looked at me, I smiled and he totally blanked me so nothing new there. He got into his car and started it up but just sat there. Just as I got level with him, and it looked like he was going nowhere, he slammed it into reverse and I had to yank poor Billy back by his lead or he'd have been hit as he was walking slightly ahead of me, I would've been too. He stopped, we walked past, he just glared...so I did too. I was telling John when he called earlier and he said he pulled out of his drive right in front of him when he was coming up the close a few weeks ago so John had to stop and then the man stopped across the middle of the street and started messing about with something, probably his phone , therefore blocking John from getting past for a minute or two. John said that when he finally turned and drove past him there was no acknowledgement whatsoever.

I need to run over to the post office shortly to post my Goddaughter's birthday present and then we're food shopping tonight.

Really hope the weather is good for tomorrow Kaz!
Enjoy lunch Ria!
Have a lovely weekend Aggers and Mrs A!
Hope you can get treated locally Jen.

Have a good one all!

Oh they sound awful Jo, hope you don't see tor much of them!

Well my day has been shopping, cleaning out a conservatory cum garden room, and helping to put up an awning! Then I came home and cooked dinner and did a pile of ironing! Feel like I deserve my sit down now!  8-) Praying for good weather tomorrow (even though I'm not religious ;) ) as the garden looks beautiful 8-) 8-) :D
