Good afternoon all, it's slightly brighter here after a wet start.

Tom's still away at his friend's house, he's going to be back tonight at some point. Joe's just got up and has come downstairs to ask me to evict a "massive" spider from his windowsill. By the time we'd got back up there it had disappeared but he then found it underneath the sill. Blimey, it was HUGE...all of a quarter of an inch in length

Ria, I hope you find something that you like. I don't mind clothes shopping if it's for everyday clothes but hate shopping for special occasions. My usual moan while failing to find anything is "I'd be fine if I could wear jeans".

Have a wonderful time Osc! Safe journey! :D

Really hope the weather gets better Debbie. We've only ever had one wet week in Cornwall so have been lucky. I spent that week in the beach tent while the boys were boarding in the sea, obviously the rain wasn't bothering them

Hope the appointment goes well Jen. My Mom has had both cataracts done in the last year. She was quite nervous about having the first one done but was so relaxed about the second having been through it once.

Kaz, I hope the forecast changes for Friday. It's such a nuisance when things are planned for outdoors.

Deb, I hope you're not far from Bude. I've just had my daily look at the webcam and it's dry there now with lots in the sea so hopefully it's better for you now :)
