I meant the flour for bread, or ready made bread, not ready meals!

I was meaning that Portugal is not as subject to the processed glop that we are in the UK. Staying clear of gluten should be so much easier if those products are avoided.

Going fresh and using raw ingredients is not as time consuming as some people imagine, and the taste! My spagol takes little more time than the ping cuisine version from the supermarket, but I know which version you would prefer.

Just remembered courgetti! A substitute for pasta, you can use the slicer on a cheese grater if you don't have a spiraliser It just needs seconds in the microwave, or even just a kettle of boiling water over it to scald it It makes a fab base for a Bolognese sauce Everyone raves about it at WW as it's so low cal, but of course it's also gluten free

Ton ,Continente & Pingo do a lot of gluten free ,here anyway,so it must be in yours as well

Just ask what she normally has, if she's used to certain bread etc she can bring it with her x

No you just need the courgettes, then use the slicer on the grater It's certainly a lot nicer than gluten free pasta, which is horrid
