Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 27 Jul 2016, 04:47

Good morning. :D

As hot as a GBBO oven.   8-)

A quick run, back for a swim then get ready to go to Paloma Park with Don for a good long mooch round the market. :D :D

No doubt lots of books will be purchased but as there is no luggage allowance hubby doesn't seem to mind me buying them.

Lunch at one of our favourite chiringuitos on the beach. 8-) 8-)

I might very well end up by the pool with one of my new books this afternoon. :D

Shouty TV tonight followed by the blubfest that is Long Lost Family.

Have a safe journey Osc and a great holiday. 8-)

Have a good day everyone. :D

Morning Ally, and everyone :)

Your plans sound great Ally, hope you find lots of lovely books :D :Hi: :Hi:

It's been raining here, and the forecast is a lot cooler, so it's looking a bit dodgy for D's Garden Party for her CRUSE group on Friday. I'm helping out tomorrow with the shopping for it, and then on Friday with sandwich making, and I'm also in charge of making the ice cubes    Not been asked to bake anything, but then D's baking is pretty much Bake Off standard (not kidding!) so I'm rather glad on that score   I'll be an extra pair of hands on the day ;)

Quiet day today, I hope, I feel like I could do with one :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

It's raining again. Roll on to when we can go on holiday whenever we want, rather than school holidays, and can afford to go abroad. It was beautiful weather here last week and no doubt it will be again once we go home. But today it's overcast and drizzling. It's forecast worse for tomorrow.

It has said it should brighten up this afternoon so hopefully we will get to the beach again. We want yesterday although got rained off. I sat in our little beach tent for an hour in the drizzle whilst the girls were in the sea (thank good for wetsuits).

Morning everyone

We woke up to thick fog :o :o    Clearing now and the sun is trying very hard to come out to play ;)

So we've spent over an hour in the garden - lovely and cool, although the temperature is about the same as normal for the morning - weird stuff

Ironing for me this morning and then off to Pingo later - lunchtimes are the time to go at the moment - yes, it's hotter, but everyone seems to go first thing or later in the day.

Such a shame Debih, hope it clears up for you soon. My daughter is down in Cornwall next week - she and you must co-ordinate, as she normally has lovely weather.

Safe journey Osc, have a great time xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bit of a breeze this morning.

Off for coffee with the ladies this morning. Hospital at 3pm, after months of waiting and a complete mix up with my appointment I'm finally seeing the consultant about my misty left eye. The optician thinks it's PCO which needs laser treatment. Hopefully if he's right they'll be able to offer some kind of sedation

Hope you all have a good day :D

morning all, another scorcher on the way-sorry Debih not what you want to hear.

Used to find we had to change North or South coast or vice versa in Cornwall to try for sun.

Morning all

a dull and gloomy day today - just as well I had yesterday off; got loads done in the garden. Our receptionist is off sick today (again!) so for now it's just me manning the fort; but it's quiet.

Need to pop out at some point to see if I can find some shoes and a matching bag in a light cream colour - going to a wedding on Friday. Typical me to leave it to the last minute but I just really don't enjoy clothes shopping etc; such a chore!

Safe travels Osc - have a fab time
Debs, fingers crossed the weather turns nicer asap and you can have some warm fun time on the beach x
Everyone else enjoy your respective days

xx
