An 86 year old priest has been murdered by two Islamists in France.

I think these people are trying to provoke a race / religious war. Will the French people stand for this? Killing a harmless old priest in his own church is going to really upset people, I would imagine. Maybe even more than the Nice outrage.

At the risk of being branded totally cynical, I expect they'll write it off to the assailants having "mental issues", which certainly seems to be the BBC's default position when it comes to terrorist acts these days.

I'm sure the BBC has a handy store of excuses Os, but they are sounding weaker and weaker. We have a problem that isn't going to go away of it's own accord and the more atrocities that happen, the more the feebleness and hand wringing of our elites will be exposed.

The BBC has become one of the most despicable news outlets, anywhere.

This morning its main headline was: "Hate crime rise sparks policing review."

The article, however, pointed the finger fairly and squarely at white English youths and men. Yet when Moslems, Asians or blacks carry out atrocities against young girls they are just ordinary crimes - move on, nothing to see here.

Then this afternoon it goes with: "IS claims killing of French priest." Why not use the proper term "butchering in cold blood" and why is there no report of them running from the church shouting "Allahu Akbar"? Other news outlets are reporting it.

The BBC is peddling one point of view when it comes to attacks like this, the view that says community cohesion must be maintained.
So it always (for instance) portrays ordinary Muslims who are "afraid of a backlash from right wing extremists".

The aren't reporting the news so much as trying to minimise it and trying to deflect attention and propagandise.
As has been said before, murdering a priest in his own church and filming it? Yes, that's a hate crime, right enough.

People saying nasty things about Muslims is much less of a hate crime.

I now see that the National Police Chiefs' Council has warned the Christian community in the UK to be alert. They are to review security in places of worship and other buildings identified as belonging to the faith.

What the hell is going on, and what is being done about it?

It's called WAR and the answer to the other question is "not enough". Because to do "enough" would be RACIST. Except they don't call it WAR, they call it Jihad and that's OK then because their "Prophet" said it's fine.

Yes, what is going on? Surely we cannot allow these so-called Islamic State creatures to continue in their
uncivilised and barbaric actions. Haven't they done enough already to warrant a world-wide determination
to curb their activities? Does it need a serious attack on the Houses of Parliament to make our politicians do
something about it? I just cannot understand the mentality of modern politicians.
