Sounds like a wonderful time Di! :D

Saundra, isn't that always the case? Our two always loved the boxes that things came in too

Billy's had a long walk and the back garden lawn is cut. I haven't bothered with the side garden, it's a pain to do as the mower cable keeps getting caught in the shrubs and the trees are difficult to manoeuvre the mower around as they're close to the wall - I'm secretly hoping that John will mow it over the weekend

Afternoon :D It's warm here but not as humid as recently. We had planned a little picnic with the children but the weather was looking a bit unreliable, so we had it on the terrace which was actually nice, as we didn't have to lug rug, cushions etc, very far ;) There were a few spitty bits of rain but we just carried on! Of course, now it's lovely  Kellie is asleep and Michael and Mr Osc have gone to play golf with SIL. Miss Osc and family are off to Portugal on Saturday and Michael is very excited. Hope everyone is having a lovely day :)

Don't know, Di, except that they are flying to Faro. Some place where there is golf and Michael is playing in some junior golf thing while they are there. They went to the same place four years ago obviously before Kellie came along, and M still has surprisingly clear memories of it.

Gosh that is surprising, at his age isn't it :)
Plenty of golf all along the Algarve, that's for sure!

It's going to be very hot next week Osc 8-)

Di, in answer to your dog question - they are keeping the two "house" dogs in for most of the day and also most of the evening and are even walking them around the tracks on a lead

The other two have been moved to s small kennel away from their house, behind the huge rusting containers they have :? Yesterday, I noticed he was enlarging it - so hopefully, they'll keep them there.

Their guests have gone now, next one's arriving in a couple of days.

If they move the dogs back near us, we'll have a word.

Di that all sounds lovely, so glad you enjoyed your visitor :) I'm enjoying having Hannah here, we get on so well and we've had a lovely 'mooch', non-stop chatting and I got the pleasure of shopping without spending any money as she bought loads of stuff :D  She's staying until Saturday morning - we're off to Cheltenham tomorrow, as she's never been there :)

Ton I'm glad the dog situation is getting sorted, it will be nicer for you and sounds kinder to the dogs too :)

Osc I saw your picnic photos, looked like a lot of fun :D

Saundra, that's funny, my lot were always like that! I'll never forget the Christmas when my sister, being newly employed, splashed out on a Weebles Airport for Chris - hugely expensive - but he played all day in the big box it came in. She wasn't overly pleased
