and the same for the UK so we can all be together.

I'm going for a quick run then back for a shower and going to the ITV centre with Don. The car's appointment is for 9.37 (which makes me laugh as Spain doesn't normally do times and clocks! ) but when it comes down to your car having its MOT they go all Hitler like on you and give you a precise time!

Anyway, the reason I'm going is there's a fantastic, huge noisy bar right next door that do the most amazing coffee and the best pitufos.

We can breakfast at our leisure whilst the car is having a once over.

I'll have to go food shopping on the way home but that's a small price to pay.

Another day lazing by the pool - well, I am on holiday. I'm working my way through my mini library.

I have been up since 6.00 a.m
We are having a builder coming this morning. He said he would be here early. When I asked what he meant by early, he said 7.00 a.m. So weare ready for him. He is doing some work on one of the chimneys.
It is hot and sunny and getting warmer.

Morning all! It's a hot one here today, I'm just heading out to walk Billy before it gets too hot for him.

Tom got back at Midnight last night, he was straight into the shower. He was impressed with his journey though as he paid £33 for a first class return between Birmingham and London. Virgin were having a seat sale when he booked and his railcard brought it down even further. He's off to Manchester next Monday. He certainly enjoys travelling. I'm just hoping that he doesn't sleep in too long and gets up and uploads some photos. He showed me some on his camera of the street art in Brick Lane and they were gorgeous.

Ally, I don't envy you doing the food shopping!

Pool will be filling up again today - can't do it all at once, but a couple of hours this morning, another couple this afternoon and another couple this evening - until it's full

Trust me Jo - breakfast at this place is well worth 20 minutes in Mercadona. And it has aircon!

It's either that or sit and die quietly in the heat of the car whilst I wait for Don.

Jo it's hot here already, Mick walks the dogs BUT I have to walk to zumba, then up to the GP's to get my prescription filled (I hope!) then on to D's for a bite of lunch - then later walk home again, so I will be whacked when I get home I had a lovely cool shower last night before going to bed, the room was also lovely and cool until we had to turn it off for the whirring noise

It's five years today since we lost my dad, so I'll be thinking about him today. He loved the sunshine, and had a tan all year round from working outdoors.
