We had beef risotto

Tbh I was still full from lunch. We had a sharing platter of bread, dips, meats was the description what they really meant to say was "a devine selection of things you would normally turn your nose up at carefully home cooked and flavoured so you scrape the dish clean and look around for more"
There was Beetroot, onion relish, soft cheese, a hard blue/herb cheese, salami, haloumi, pesto, olives, muscles, mushrooms, and a few others we had no idea about but we're so YUM!
Everything happens for a reason

Sounds good Weka, we love picky bits and pieces :D

Ally if I was making it specially for you it would be sans celery of course :P
You definitely wouldn't have liked yesterday's lunch, one of my favourite sandwiches - cream cheese, grated cheddar and lots and lots of celery :D

Weka that all sounds delish! I also love picky bits and pieces and it's nice to 'share' food like that. :D

Funnily enough, as much as I ab-sol-utely lurve cream cheese I don't like it on a sandwich. :o

That particular sandwich needs it to hold the rest together, so it's just enough of that, plus mayo.
Not a lot of cheddar either but extra mature - just plenty of celery :P

I'd be happy with a cheese sandwich. Cheese. Cheese. Cheese. Cheese. And cheese. Did I tell you I love cheese.

I'm actually wondering if there is a proper word for a cheeseaholic.

Yes it's cheeseaholic - well it is now :D

Did I ever tell you how far back my cheese addiction goes?
Mum left me in my pram outside the Post Office, the shopping in a bag at the bottom. She came out to a small crowd, watching me chomping my way through a freshly-cut lump of cheddar  :D
I have curtailed it of late, only by deliberately making myself not have a cheese sandwich/baguette so many times a week.
But still have plenty :D

I've just googled this: "Cheese Addiction, also known as Penchant de Fromage is a little known but rapidly spreading epidemic in the US and Great Britain."

Best add Spain to that list.
