Lunch really was a feast

Jo one of our favourite meals is courgette pasta, I've probably posted it before.
Halve courgette/s lengthwise then slice across. Saute either fast or slow, in oil/butter (don't need much); add garlic (I use puree) near the end.
When pasta is cooked (penne or fusilli), drain but keep some liquid, put back in pan.
Chuck courgette into pasta, add a little chopped red chilli (fresh or from a jar), a little of the pasta water, a big dollop of creme fraiche, and fresh basil.
That's it
I do it with asparagus too, cut up, and you can add chopped bacon at the beginning, which is nice too, or some leftover chicken, but we like it with just the courgette best
