Happy Valentine's Day

Off to the airport shortly....(in half an hour and I haven't packed yet!)

I can't wait to see family and friends over the next 5 days.

As usual we have a mad hectic list of things to do and people to see..but wouldn't want it any other way.

We're due to land at 1pm then go into town, book into the hotel and straight to see Joanie.

Back into town for a bite to eat then walk to Hockley for our brewery tour..and 2 pints of ale.

Back into town after that for a meal tonight.

Morning all. Its very slushy out there but fortunately the road is passable so I can get the car out. I am going to take Millie for a walk along the canal - she must be bored stiff of only walking along our lane.

Then home to do not much.

L has gone off to school like this, this morning.



It is world book week and they have to go as something from Narnia. Mick dropped the enormous wardrobe off yesterday but she wanted to dress up as well so has gone as a fox!

L is very excited as it is her school disco this evening.

I got two steaks from the local butcher yesterday, we decided that's what we would like for tonight. There were steaks in the M&S deal but we didn't really want the other bits on offer.
Better to buy local anyway

I got tea, a card, and a dozen red roses in bed this morning - bit prickly ( ) but there you go........ I already knew I had flowers though as Mick showed me last night after I accused him of forgetting yet again I am a lucky girl.............

I'll be making the most of the sunshine and going for a good walk again - will see if I can drag B out with me this time so we can start to buy some of the stuff she needs for her trip, which is only about 8 weeks away now! She was fine after the jabs, back to normal yesterday really

Just back from a walk in the park. Puddles and mud everywhere. Dog could do with a bath.
A dog lover's work is never done. But the sun is shining and I feel invigorated now.
