Morning Ally and everyone

A lovely morning 8-)

Off to Castro Verde again later  as I need to pay Heldar some money and I don't have any cheques. We have to get them through the cashpoint and our only local branch is at Castro   So we'll look at chest freezers whilst we're there ;)

Then this afternoon, I have an opticians appointment. So we'll have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, what a difference from the lovely sunshine yesterday. Not sure what's happening on the build front, the guys are hoping the window people will arrive today, but rains put everyone behind so it's wait and see.

We were planning a stroll around the harbour, will see how the weather turns out.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :D

Ally, I saw the conversation on FB about you needing a larger rucksack :D   Have a lovely day :) xx

Ton, hope you get the money/cheques sorted, and find a new freezer :)

Jen it has rained here every day since this time last week :( The forecast for today was better but the sky outside tells another tale  Hope it stays dry for you, for your windows xxxx

I'm off to GRH later, with D, as she has an ultrasound appointment - she is very well at the moment but they are just being thorough ;) I offered to go with her, and we're going for a late lunch afterwards as she'll be fasting before the scan :) Becky has her last shift at work today, just a short 10-2, and then later they are all out for her farewell meal. These last few weeks before she goes are rushing past, she got the letter to print out yesterday, for immigration, stating she's an unpaid volunteer, so they will let her in!

Have a lovely day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all.

It's not very bright here. I'm wondering if it's now our turn to have a basinful of rain.

Flaming June !

Wishing you all a dry day.

Afternoon all,

Kaz, the big adventure begins. I'm sure she'll love it.

Rain and more rain here. Tonight I'm off to my BIL's for a second attempt at an evening out. I got a cheap knock off copy of a prismatic compass at mountain warehouse yesterday and so I bought a second one for my neice.

Texted Mrs S, who is in Rome with #1 daughter, last night and no response. Phoned #1 daughter today, no response. They are due to fly back tomorrow so if I don't hear anything by late tonight, its time to worry.

Have a good day all...

Afternoon all, dull and dreary here and certainly not warm enough  Michael's sports day was this morning, all a bit traumatic, he didn't want to do the three-legged race so his daddy got cross for letting down the boy he was going to do it with, that meant an upset little boy with tears :( He did recover eventually when Daddy had to leave to go to work. In the meantime, Kellie was cranky and crying for no particular reason that we could see, I took her off to try and settle her, don't know what was wrong, in the end Miss Osc was able to bring her to the childminder early, the joys of living where these places are in walking distance. Back home for a rest! This afternoon I need to tackle the insurance claim for our cancelled air fares to the US, deep joy  Have a good day everyone :)

My mum still sends postcards Saundra...from Spain when she's here and wherever she goes on holiday. :D :D

I'm expecting one any day from the Lake District as they went last Saturday for 2 weeks. :D
