Off for an early morning walk then back for usual swim then coffee.

Today is my last 'proper' day at work as next Tuesday there will be no books in class....we'll play games.

So work 4 - 9 then meeting Don for a couple of beers and a bite to eat.

A later start for us this morning, after rather a late night And the builders were being so quiet, until they saw we opened the shutters, then the banging started

Off to the Barragem de Rocha, Castro Verde and Ourique, to show Tom around. A coffee somewhere and out to dinner again - the Adega tonight, black pork heaven

It's bright and sunny at the moment and the builders have arrived extra early so it's all go here.

We're off out to do the weekly shop after brekkie. Probably a good idea to avoid some of the noise Might go for a walk this afternoon, depends if the weather holds out.

Well we have yet more torrential rain forecast, it has hardly stopped here since last weekend so I'm well fed up with it now I've been putting off doing the washing hoping for a better day, but now I have loads needing doing so will have to put the tumble dryer on Nothing special planned today, I ached like mad last night after zumba, so taking it fairly easy sounds a good plan

what a day - been non-stop since I got to work at 8.30. Only now having a few minutes to myself; phew!

Hope your last proper day was fun Ally; bet the kids are looking forward to the holidays; right now I could do with a good few days off myself

I love my grandchildren to bits, but always wrecked when they leave on a Thursday! It was very dreary day, although I managed to get to the post office this morning before the rain, so at least Kellie got some fresh air. It was also rather cool, I had to put on a little teeshirt under my top, plus socks

I used to be the same osc when my first 2grandchildren where small I used to work till 1 on a Sunday then come home and in those days it was always mum who cooked the Sunday dinner
But Bill used to wash upthe good old days they say
