Going shopping to Plaza Mayor with Don...he got a nice sum of birthday money from Conor and wants help to spend it.

We'll have lunch at a Mexican place there too.

Started off bright and sunny then came a heavy downpour so not sure what the builders will be doing if it continues. They want to work on the roof today and the last thing we need is water coming through, oh and the electrician's just arrived so not sure what he can do either

Still haven't decided if I'm going for coffee, depends on the weather, don't mind chilly but would rather not be waiting for a bus in the rain. I rarely take the car in as parking is limited unless you park someway out and walk along the seafront.

I've had a busyish couple of days, nothing has been done around here so I need to hoover, do some dusting etc, and get a few bits of shopping in. Just milk, more fruit and some fresh flowers. B is off work so might well come with me Zumba tonight.

It's definitely unpleasant here, weather-wise. A staying-in day for us.

I've plenty of things to keep me occupied, so I'm not bothered.
I certainly won't be watching the news programmes on TV. I'm fed-up with all the bullsh they are turning out.

Afternoon all,

Work from home day today as I had to get a new tyre on the car. I realised it was illegal and it didn't get a warning at the MOT back in December... It's not been that far since.

It is totally miserable here. Pondering working on the bike tonight but it'll take at least 4 hours and I'm just not that enamoured of spending that much time in damp clammy weather... If I don't finish it's going to be sitting there blocking the car in.

See it wasn't so difficult to convince myself that I didn't want to do it today was it?
