Morning Ally and everyone

Quite arm, but chilly in that wind

Cleaning, washing and ironing for me today.

Also, the gas cooker we had is - at last - being collected today. I've had so many people ask about it, but as I'd promised it to Sue - and she had to wait for some.one to help her to collect it. Nice lady, but if we'd done it, it would be, oh Keith, while you're here, could you just look at.... and at....and not even get a proper thank you or drink at the end of it. We've already found that out :cute: :cute:

So she and Jez will, no doubt, want to have a nosy around, as they both knew Mercedes

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, all,

Bright, sunny, beautiful with hints of clouds behind the hills. And a balmy 11c outside.... :(

Work today and perhaps picking up some of my stuff for my maintenance work for this week (back brake discs and pads for the car and getting inside the bike engine to fix a tinging noise).

Apparently my Niece needs a walking partner so maybe I'll have some more motivation to get out on the hills. Much less sore today and both knees and fee working properly which is a bonus.

Enjoy the day, I'll be stuck in an office with my jumper on.

Morning all :D

Started off really sunny, but it's looking dull and overcast right now, hope it brightens up.

I'm off to the hairdresser for my usual cut/colour/blow dry this morning. Need to do some fruit and veggie shopping later too.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Ally the big school holiday is coming round really quickly this year, Harry finishes soon  He's doing his work experience this week, at a garage. I rang last night, he really enjoyed his first day in the workplace! :D 8-)

Suff I'm glad you might have a walking partner, hope you enjoy your walks 8-) :)

Morning Ton, glad you are getting rid of your cooker at last ;) Did you email me those pics yet? I'll look in a minute ;)

Morning Jen, have a good day :) xx

Morning cruiser, enjoy your dance later :)

Well if it's Tuesday, it must be zumba   Went to WW yesterday and have lost another pound, so I was pleased with that 8-) After zumba I'll walk up to see D and have lunch with her. That's my day in a nutshell ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.

The sun is shining brightly here now, but there are a lot of clouds about.

I've been for a brisk walk, and had a glance through the newspaper.
Now I think I might have a look at my stamp collection, which I have somewhat neglected of late.

Hope you are all O.K.

Have a nice day.

Afternoon Aggers :)

Aw not to worry Ton, I'm sure he's worth waiting for :D xxxx

It's clammy and wet here, not ideal weather either for exercising or walking but hey ho, the forecast is better for the weekend. I hope so anyway, J was after volunteers to join in a zumba demo at a local summer show on Saturday :? :? Guess who got roped in

That wasn't quite the day we planned! We said we would go to a 1916 exhibition in the General Post Office in Dublin - it was the centre of the 1916 Rising and they have now set up a permanent exhibition and visitor centre - then we would go for lunch in a nice restaurant where we have not been before. It was raining on and off when we got up but we decided to go anyway. The exhibition was really good, very interesting, I do wish they had taught us history like this in school, it can't be right that I am only learning stuff about our Rising almost 50 years after I left school

When we were finished, it was really chucking it down outside so we pondered whether or not to go to the restaurant, but it eased after about 10 minutes so we set off, not a very long walk.......but when we got there, they were not doing lunch today due to some renovation, or so a very offhand staff member told us   We looked at the restaurant next door but neither of us likes silly menus (I mean...whoever knew that monkfish have cheeks  ) so we just had tea/coffee and a nice cake in a little Italian place and came home to have dinner here!! Had a nice time, though :D Oh and when we got home, there was a letter from the insurance company with a cheque for our flights and hotel after the fainting episode in England last month. Now I have to send in another claim for our air fares to America.
