Ten Percent

Postby Suff » 10 Jun 2016, 21:17

Says the latest online poll.

The interesting points on that are that nearly 80% of leave voters will definitely vote whilst the remains languish in the mid 60's.

This is interesting. The Indyref polls never showed a 10% lead for anyone on any one poll. In the end, after project fear and the 11th hour rabbit clutching trio; enough voters were convinced to stay that they swayed the entire vote by a good 4%.

There will be no 11th hour rabbit in the EU referendum, there is nothing to pull out, the EU think that Project Fear is the best bet.

On the other hand, Boris is going around telling people that project fear is taking them for fools and the worst case for Leave is wishful thinking rather than wilful deceit.

All that darkness is coming home to roost and Corbyn is noticeable by his absence from any credible debate.

This is all cooking nicely. I wonder what kind of meal we will be served in two weeks time???

Sky did a poll thing the other day. Some polls show remain in the lead, others show leave winning.

Who gives a stuff?

The only poll that matters is the one on June 23rd.

The Turkish deal is springing more leaks than a colander. A million Turks. That'll play well in the papers running up to the referendum.

If i know the BBC it will get no publicity at all!

The polls are all over the shop. Nobody really knows what's happening apart from the fact that skinny latte drinking Labourites from Islington and their chums at the Guardian are having a meltdown because they have just found out that lots of their assumedly loyal supporters in this neck of the woods are voting Leave.

I have noticed that quite a few of my acquaintances are now saying that they will vote OUT.

It seems that all the scare-mongering statements by the IN brigade are having quite a different result than intended.
Serves them right.

I think that the statement Boris is making about the "project fear" attempt to sway people, being an insult to their intelligence, is finally gaining traction.

Also Blair weighing in with the Tories
And Cameron getting into bed with Labour
And now Brown trying to sway Labour voters. Honestly I'd have used Brown to make the case for Leave if I was a remain supporter, he's that disliked.

Corbyn with his lukewarm REMAINism. So many people are coming to thoroughly dislike him that having him on the Remain campaign is like a boost for Leave.

Then we get more and more dire warnings of the world ending, the EU screwing us into the floor on trade if we dare to go against them.

Honestly do they know the average Brit at all? Even if you want to stay, much more of this and the average Englander is going to stick two fingers up and say "good riddance at ten times the price".

Which, of course, is all music to my ears. What I want is a poll showing 15% brexit. Then they'll really start to panic and the threats will become so dire that people are finally going to understand who and what they are. Then, perhaps, finally, people will be able to choose what they want and what they don't. Because when the gloves come off the underbelly of the dark beast will be revealed and I don't think it can take the limelight and survive in the UK.
