I'm up too so used to getting up early, to let people in
Going to be a hot one here too and apart from leaning the kitchen and putting things away, think I'll be stuck inside, as the whole house needs cleaning again
Not too many Saundra, you have to get them home
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
Good morning, Another hot and sunny day. Shopping this morning. Then taking mrs.e to the dentist. Dancing tonight. Bought some plants from a local garden centre on Friday. Have been watering them each evening. THey are doing much better than some I ordered by post earlier this year.
It's going to be a hot one here too, like yesterday. I had a really nice day in town with Emma, after WW, but boy it was scorching! We got back to her parked car and it was nearly 40 degrees inside until we opened the windows Zumba this morning, luckily the venue (Walls Social Club) is a huge hall with great big doors that open onto sports fields, so they can be wide open to let the air in without people going past and gawping in I think I'll take two bottles of water with me today, though, instead of the usual one
Afterwards I'll walk up to see D and have lunch, we can sit in her garden
It's been a really good couple of days. Found my aunt and uncle in good form when we visited Sunday morning. It was my uncles 87th birthday so we got him a chocolate cake (his favourite) which was a huge success.
Yesterday it was lunch with mother. She was very happy to see us so another success. E's appointment also went well, he's now moved to 6mthly's for the next 2yrs
Just getting ready for the journey home, fingers crossed it stays dry, the M25 isn't much fun any day, awful when it rains.
Morning all, we will be heading off on the road to NI in a while - you would not believe how heavy our bag is ...well we are going in the car, so there is that sense of being able to take loads Well, dancing stuff, swimming stuff, walking stuff.......you know how it is It is dull and rather humid, we had a mahoosive thunderstorm last night, there was an absolute river running down the street, went on for about ten minutes.
Today we got the letter that the doctor has written for the insurance, Mr Osc's "condition" is called Supraventricular Tachycardia SVT for short according to Dr Google. At least it has a name.
Better start moving, will probably pop in while we are away. Have a good day everyone
Swopped the gas bottle over and the whole house was full of smelly gas Rang Hugo and he was here within minutes Cue the builders coming in too, as we all tried to find out where the smell was coming from.
We worked it out that the previous owner had had a gas fridge and when it was taken away, the gas tap should have had a stop end on it. But it didn't And the tap was behind the fridge that had been left and I hadn't yet pulled it out to clean behind it That was today's job anyway, as I knew the house would be full of dust from all the building work.
So now it's got cap on it and Huge explained the gas bottle system, which is different to what we were used to. We don't have to turn taps or anything on, it does it automatically
Kitchen now clean, house now clean and now I have the lovely job of deciding what goes where in the kitchen
