Morning Ally, and everyone :)

It's a gorgeous day here, very sunny :) I think I'll go to the WW meeting this morning, catch up with people. One of the 'regulars' there has been to the US, meeting her newborn greatgrandchildren (this lady is nearly 80 but looks 60!) and I want to see the photos ;) :D

Becky has a driving lesson today that includes a 'mock' test - she takes the actual one in a couple of weeks, just before she goes to Canada, and she's also having her hair cut later, some layers put in so that it will still be nice as it grows out whilst she's away. No doubt they have hairdressers in Canada but she wants to be prepared ;) Dentist's tomorrow, to head off any problems, she has taken out good medical insurance anyway but still............... :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Thick fog earlier    but all gone now and so I have internet access ;) Going to be a hot day :D :D

Busy here, what with a digger, and three blokes working on the pool and surround and the two kitchen guys. And their boss has just been up too :D

But no water and no gas at the moment, as they're cutting the back plate to go around the gas pipes.

So we may go out in a minute

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

What a lovely day yesterday and again today - I'm hoping to be able to take 1/2 day off and leave early to make the most of it - bliss

Kaz, the mom of a family friend of ours was like that lady at WW - she lived in Scotland but flew out to South Africa to visit the family at least once a year up until about 90 or so... she did have a bit of special assistance at the airports but that was it; an incredible lady she was

Ton, best of luck with the pool and kitchen goings on - don't blame you for escaping the house for a bit. I would as well
Ally and Saundra, enjoy the houseworky stuff and then relaxing later

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning :)
Lovely again here too, two days running :D

Minnie's been to the vet, got the metronidazole...blimey they're big, she must have held it in her mouth for over 10 minutes! Then I poured a little water in, that did it ;)
She's meant to be eating little spoons of plain rice but isn't, and I can't force that down. Bb's going to get some fish from Tesco on his way home but it'll be quite late so that will be for tomorrow. If fish doesn't tempt her nothing will.
Bb spent his second night on the sofa, just as well as she was out several times between 12 and 4

Hope you get your afternoon off meriad :)

Afternoon all, another nice day although there has been one short shower. We had a lovely walk again but came back a bit early, as threatening clouds were gathering and I had two loads of washing on the line. Got it all in anyway and now the sun is out again  Got to pack for our mini break tomorrow, amazing how much you can bring when you are going in the car  Enjoy the rest of the day :D

Poor Minnie, get well soon girl :( ((((x))))

I did enjoy WW thanks :) I saw my friend, apparently the g-grandchildren were gorgeous, as was California :D She 'only' gained 2lbs which for 2 weeks in the States is a bit of a miracle, and I lost 2lbs :D    Ria she really is amazing and looks a good 15-20 years younger than her age. She does zumba with me often on a Tuesday morning or a Wednesday night!!

I went for lunch and a long mooch around town with Emma afterwards, I've not long got back :) She is looking for an outfit for her daughter's graduation so we had a lovely mooch around the posh frocks in Debenhams ;)

Did you go out, in the end, Ton? Don't blame you one bit!!!

Osc, I hope you and Mr O have a fantastic mini-break :) xxxx
