The sun's trying to come out here too. The usual Sunday stuff here, food shopping, a trip to B&Q for a new bathroom blind as a slat has broken on the old one, maybe a potter in the garden later if it stays fine, but there is plenty of stuff waiting on the iplayer if it doesn't.

The sun was shining when we got up, but it's disappeared at the moment. Fingers crossed it stays dry for our journey to Wilts, even a little bit of rain can be a nightmare on the M25.

Some gentle weeding for me, must water the garden later. Veggies coming along really well and we'll be pulling a few (small) carrots, for dinner later

Today is summer here - not daring to assume we get more than one day

Might finally get the pots planted, but not sure about a trip to the garden centre, as Minnie's not well
She has a horrific bout of colitis, the first proper one for a couple of years. You don't want to know the details, suffice to say I'm awfully glad I don't have it, but don't think we'll be risking leaving her shut in.
No new 'episodes' so far today, so after 24 hour's starvation have started giving her a spoonful of rice every 30-60 minutes.
Bb stayed downstairs last night, kipping on the sofa, it was either that or leave the back door propped open.
Fingers crossed that'll be the end of it, otherwise it'll be the vet tomorrow.

Jen good luck, I hate that road and as you say even worse in the rain.
Ton enjoy washing your carrots in your new sink

Thanks both.
She's on them permanently Ton, for the Imha, just half a tablet every other day. We'd give her extra but not without food...so far she's only had a total of two tablespoons of rice, but didn't even lick up the last grains of the second.
