Transport for this year's Epic UK Trip...

Postby Ally » 04 Jun 2016, 16:25

...has been officially booked. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Flying over Friday 1st July, being met by Jackie at the airport, spend the day with her and then we're off out to Moseley at night to meet up with a rapidly growing list of friends.

Train Saturday afternoon to Nottingham to stay with Craig, Lani & Jacob till Monday lunchtime. :D :D

Train back to Birmingham and out at night with another load of friends. :D :D

Tuesday is 'The Meet'. Can't wait to catch up again with some VV chums. :D :D

Wednesday morning I'm back to the city centre to have breakfast with said VV chums then meeting Don to catch the Megabus up to Glasgow. :D :D

Spend the night with mum and dad. The next day Don and I are spending the whole day in Glasgow...lots of walking and trails to follow and bars to visit. :D Spending the night in a nice wee boutique hotel :D then back to mum and dad's on the Friday morning to spend the whole day with them and stop another night there.

Saturday get the Megabus back to Birmingham due in at tea time. Straight to Jackie's, shower and change then out with her and some friends for the evening. Ending up at the Hen & Chickens which serves possibly the best Indian food ever. :D :D

Sunday we'll have a full day in Birmingham to visit family and friends. :D

Monday morning final visit to see Joanie then a spot of lunch before heading to the airport for our 5pm flight.

No doubt we'll stagger to Paco's vodka emporium to have a beer and a rest!

Sorted.

I do like a plan.

I know it sounds anal Kaz but we really do need to plan these trips as it would be so easy to get caught up in a whirlwind of getting nowhere fast.

It'll still be a whirlwind..just an organised one.

I've just remembered to schedule my uncle Robert in for a visit too when I'm at mum's.

Back to the list....

Can you bring an Indian dinner over please Ally? I'm seriously in need of something like that to warm us up

Seriously, have a lovely, lovely time.

I'm not going to be able to make it this year, far too much going on.

Can we sort out a skype again? As long as my wifi thingy is behaving itself of course ;)
