Morning all, quite cloudy here, so a bit cooler than yesterday - how quickly we get used to warm sunny weather! A bit of food shopping to do this morning because of course we had let everything run down. Going to shop locally though because it is a bank holiday here and I really cba to face Lidl. Hairdresser this afternoon, so I will be gorgeous by teatime Hope you get better news today, Saundra, and enjoy all your visitors. Have a good day everyone
Enjoy your visitors Saundra, hope you get better news today x
We're off up to Wilts tomorrow so I'm busy doing the washing and a general clear round. It's my uncle's birthday today so we'll be popping in to see them tomorrow afternoon. Taking mother and Chris her keyworker out to lunch Monday and then it's E's 3mthly appointment later that afternoon. We're keeping fingers tightly crossed, it's now 3yrs since his diagnosis and if all's okay he will move to 6mthly appointments for the next 2yrs.

Doesn't take long does it Osc, and despite bitter experience it's always a horrid shock when it ends
Jen, I hope all will go well for E when he has his check up, fingers crossed! XX
Hope you get your plants in Aggers
Well, it has stayed cloudy here but it's been pretty warm so we've sat outside quite comfortably, both at Corretto's and in D's garden. It's so peaceful and pretty there, a very pleasant way to spend an hour or two D made me a lemon cake!! For no special reason other than her remembering me saying how much I liked them It's a huge great sponge with lemon butter icing and chocolate drops on the top That's my weekend eating sorted, although luckily I have willing helpers...
Ooo that cake sounds gorgeous!! I thought you did a spot of baking now and then Kaz? How lovely of D! x
We have sunshine again after a couple of days of grey....it's warming up too! Lewis is here for a couple of hours, he's eaten me out of strawberries LOL and we watched Monsters University together...now playing badminton on the grass outside with Grandad.
No other plans for today, other than our weekly Chinese takeaway later
