Morning Ally and everyone

Dull and overcast here :o :o but warm

Happy Birthday to Craig xx Scary when we realise just how quickly time is going ;)

By 7.30 this morning I've been gate lady, labourer, cleaner and chief coffee maker   We've removed the tiles that should have been covered up in one area, but will leave Helda to sort the other one out - although Grumpy has an idea about that.

So hoping for a less stressy day today. The jcb has already been at work, sorting out the entrance to the bunker and it looks like they'll be cracking on with that :D

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing xx

Happy Birthday to Craig, Ally :D Hope he has a great birthday :)

Morning Ton, I hope today is much less stressful for you ((((((((((x)))))))))

Thinking of your family today Saundra, hoping your DiL is improving ((((((x)))))

Morning all :) It's a much sunnier start to the day here today, I'll be out in it later - hopefully with Becks as she's not working until this afternoon - but before that I really can't avoid the ironing pile any longer

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Dull, overcast and raining here at the moment. Was surprised to see the builders, but they're here, not sure how long for though :?

Hope things go more smoothly for you today Ton.

Not sure what we're doing yet, was planning to pop down to the harbour but if it stays like this will probably just be pottering round the house.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

another dull, grey and drizzly morning here... bored of it now. Sunday is meant to be a lovely day so keeping fingers crossed for that :D

Kaz, can't remember if I've asked you before if you can iron whilst sitting down. When Nadine has a large pile she'll put on the TV and sit on the sofa and watch whilst she irons. As ironing is an alien concept to me, that's the only advice I can offer :D Have fun with Becks when you head out later
Ton, best of luck for today, hope it's a lot better than it was yesterday
Ally, happy birthday to Craig - enjoy the natter later on x and as always enjoy the beer and tapas evening
Jen, hopefully the builders get lots done today; nice of them to show up when you're not expecting them :D

Usual work day for me and then hoping my neighbour is better enough so she can sort out her animals because I was planning on popping round to Karl and Nadine this evening. But if she's still not well then I'll be heading home to sort out her animals :(

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ria :) I probably could do the same but it's more the actual ironing itself (that bores me rigid) rather than the standing, although that's not wonderful either   I've put Frasier on the telly and am about to tackle it, as I always iron in front of the telly, just too boring otherwise :?  Hope you get to Karl and Nadine's later ((x))

Morning all, another lovely day here. I have a few bits and pieces to do, then we will head off later for Mr Osc's cardiac ultrasound appointment which is at 2.30. Kaz I have tried ironing sitting down just can't do it! Once I start ironing, I do get into a zone, put on music, and like seeing the pile get smaller......it is the getting started that is the problem  Hope everyone has a good day :)

I sometimes put 50's music on and try to get a shirt done per track……tracks were shorter then……..speeds me up a bit
