Disappointing news

Postby Osc » 01 Jun 2016, 20:02

Mr Osc saw the doctor today for the results of the 24 hour monitors and other tests. The ecg monitor showed up an irregular heartbeat which they are now examining further including a cardiac ultrasound on Friday and he has to start taking beta blockers, plus he has to see a cardiologist. As a result, it was suggested that we cancel our holiday until everything has stabilised and they find out the root cause   So I have spent the afternoon cancelling bookings :(

We are disappointed but practical - basically we cannot take the risk with Mr Osc's health, plus of course our insurance would not cover us if anything happened.

<<<Osc + Mr Osc>>> .... so sorry to read your news, Osc, but you are right, you can't really take the risk after his previous episode. Best now to get the cause sorted out and treated as a priority .....

Oh no Osc, on both scores :(
No choice about the holiday of course, especially with such a long flight and to the U.S. as well, but still :(

On the other hand, no doubt you're both rather relieved they have found a reason for these episodes and hopefully will now get a diagnosis and treatment to stabilise it.
All the same (((((xxx)))))

I agree with Di - imagine how much worse it would be if E were to have another episode like you had in London recently, but you were in America! Glad he is being seen to so quickly - hugs (((((((((((((((()))))))))))
