Meeting a couple of friends in town for cake and a natter.

Dull but dry so the builders are back and hoping to get started on the roof today.

Usually go for coffee with the ladies on Wednesdays but as we were too lazy to venture out yesterday the cupboards are bare so plan a little shopping trip instead.

Well someone has switched summer off here! Drizzling and chilly Going out for a coffee (tea in my case) with my mate Alison this morning, and not sure whether to put a big coat on or not Better got sorted, she'll be here in a hour and I want to do a few things first

Kaz, same here - really miserable, damp, drizzly and cold.... 1st June it's meant to be but no sign of summer! I put my warmer coat on again this morning; the mac is just not enough

usual work day for me, out for lunch with a colleague and then home to inspect the bathroom; I'm having it painted. It'll make such a difference to the room as it's an inside bathroom with no window. The ceiling was plastered ages ago but never painted so made it quite dark; the walls were well overdue a new coat of clean so hopefully having it all painted plain white will make a huge difference.

May need to pop round to the neighbour after work. She sent me two messages yesterday evening that I missed (phone on silent and in my handbag) asking if I could go feed her animals as she was ill and not able to get off the sofa. I only got the message just after 10.30 when I was in bed so offered to go round this morning before work instead. She replied that she was hoping to feel better by this morning and I haven't heard another thing from her. I've sent two messages this morning so if I don't hear from her I'll head over there to do what needs doing. Nothing I can do about it now
