Afternoon all, absolutely gorgeous day here. We were out watching Michael playing football this morning, the last session of the season, so it's nice that it wasn't raining. Michael and Kellie are coming for a sleepover, due to arrive any minute, so it will be early to bed and early to rise for us, a 7am start for us tomorrow like Jen had this morning. Michael wants to watch the footie with Grandad this evening, we shall see how long he stays awake ;) Enjoy the rest of your day, everyone :)

Well he said he really enjoyed the drive, took him just under two hours and no problems en route :) His new car is lovely, a bit larger than I thought it would be and lots of gadgets   8-) We've had a lovely day, very relaxed and happy. We took him out for a bite of lunch then came back here for the rest of the afternoon, and I cooked chicken with garlicky new potatoes, and broccoli and carrots :) Delish :) There was a crumble and cream for afters but nobody has had room for it yet

The sun has shone all day too 8-) :)

Glad Chris arrived safe and sound Kaz xx

We were without lecky for a while, but bless his cotton socks, I rang Helda and up he came.

The fridge/freezers weren't working, so I put us on solar - and tripped the lot. We know where the main trip is, but even trying to get on solar didn't work, so had to ring Helda. Up he came, and within about 5 minutes, found there was a fault.

My fault, for using an extension cable, tripped the lot

Seriously, he reckons there is a fault and Sergio will be here on Monday morning, bright and early, to sort it out.

I had visions of us staying in a hotel for the week-end. In fact, I suggested it anyway, but was told no.

But we are going out for dinner a few times next week - this cooking in the microwave and not having any work space is really doing my head in.

And yes, I know it will be worth it. Eventually
