Good Morning Thursday

Postby tonicha » 26 May 2016, 06:36

Morning everyone

Mist slowly clearly from the valley and it should be a cool ish day, with clouds and a high of only 23C later

It's a holiday here, but our pool guys will be here as normal :D :D

The locals in the bar were having a moan last night about the bad weather and how cold it is and we should have a another few days of it, with rain on Saturday :o :o

Grumpy is clearing the broccoli and cabbage plants of caterpillars   and giving everything else down there a water. We'll be down weeding later, amazing how quickly they grow

But first we have the clear out the kitchen, not much left to do, ready for tomorrow :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, hope it lasts.

We had a lovely day yesterday meeting up with shell and her husband here at the harbour, piccie on the photo board. After lunch and a natter they went off to visit the tunnels and later in the afternoon they came up to the bungalow for more chat. Such a lovely day :D :D :D

Today after brekkie we're off out to do the usual weekly shop, M&S and Tesco. If the weather stays like this we'll probably stroll along the seafront to the harbour after lunch.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

The weather here looks quite undecided now, but I've a few indoor jobs to do, and I have
to get ready for my Golden Oldies Music Night this evening.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all

Kaz, thinking of you all today - hope the day goes as well as it can xxxx
Ton, those darn caterpillars are the reason I only tired growing broccoli the one time; not only did they decimate the plants, but the poop stinks of rotting cabbage, not good in a small garden believe me! good luck with the rest of the kitchen clear out
Ally, enjoy your perfect kind of day :D
Saundra, we've had a most glorious sunny start to the day but it's clouding over again; but staying dry. The weekend forecast is a mix of everything really; but Sunday is meant to be good
Jen, lovely to have met up with Shell yesterday - had you met in real life before?
Aggers, enjoy the evening. It's good of you to do that for everyone else - who has more fun, you compiling the evening or them on the evening?

Well, usual work day for me. Then home to pop to my neighbours as I'm cat sitting for her over the long weekend. Not something I'm particularly looking forward to as she's a hoarder with too many animals in far to small a place that absolutely reeks to high heaven, but hey.... if I don't do it then no-one will and she can't go visit her family.

Wish me luck!

Have a lovely day all xx

I certainly enjoy compiling the programme, and I enjoy putting on the show, too. Music has always played a big part in my life. When I was a child during the 1930s we had a wind-up gramophone, and my father, whose job took him to record manufacturers factories, often brought home sample records 'hot off the press', and my head is still full of 1930's songs. I now have over a thousand CDs, so I have a good choice of songs. They tell me that they all enjoy my monthly programmes.
