7am and it's already hot.

Getting picked up at 8 and we're off to climb La Maroma..I'm really excited and a teeny bit nervous. It's our biggest one yet and estimated to take anything between 8-10 hours.

Even if I'm cream crackered when I get home I'm still going to the pub!

Well we're having a lazy start here, not properly up yet! Taking H out for some lunch, then having a mooch. Not sure if we're going to D's later as my BIL and his wife are up for the weekend and there was some talk of them all going out and taking Aunt J, but we'll give her a ring later and take it as it comes

Morning all, nice enough day here, really warm when I was hanging out washing, but chilly when a cloud came over. I feel like I have a hangover this morning, honestly I'd nearly be better drinking We had a nice fun evening out with our friends, eating good food and having plenty of chat. We weren't even home late, the last train, but I think it is a combination of eating later than we usually would, and having to talk over lots of background noise, my neck is sore from craning to hear and talk to the others. For some reason, the restaurant gave us a free bottle of something like Cava - even I had a few mouthfuls - when we asked why, the manager said "why not"! I had booked online, maybe that was it We didn't refuse it anyway!

Bits and pieces today, I want to finish off the travel insurance claim and get it posted. Some ironing to do too (isn't there always ) and whatever else I feel like doing. Hope everyone has a lovely day

No builders today so we've been extremely lazy and enjoyed a lovely long lie in. No plans for today, just the usual washing and house stuff.

It's grey, with occasional rain here. We've been a short walk up to the local shop, but
won't be going out again today.
