I've finally found the packing list and updated it, only took all night! Took longer into find where it was saved.
That and the phone just has not stopped ringing tonight! I think I've spent a grand total of about 10 mins off it!

Yes Di, it's been a year. I know, I can't believe it either. Last year I had to take 2 portacots and so many nappies. This year it's one portacots and lots and lots if knickers and shorts for Oliver, but I'm starting to think he can wear nappies this weekend... :? He is still going through knickers too fast.
Tomorrow I need to track down a sleeping bag for missy, and beach shoes for her too. Off to the shops we shall have to go.

Hope the ear things do the trick.

Good afternoon, all.

Plenty of new snow here, but it's not cold enough for ice (yet).

Been busy the last two days sorting out computer/printing problems. Sunday saw me updating a long document from my
old desktop hard drive. When almost completed it suddenly vanished from the screen and I couldn't find it, until I noticed
a small icon at the bottom of the screen which, when clicked, produced the lost item. Then I saved my work and decided
to print it. More problems ! The notice, "Colour cartridge needs replacing" then appeared. (this was a Kodak printer, on
special offer when I bought it three monthths ago.) It obviously was intended for printing photos only, and if either cartridge,
is empty it just won't work, even on black printing only. This is the second time this has happened in the three months I've
had it, and I've done very, very little colour printing. I blew my top. Then I found that my up-dated document had not saved.
That was the last straw. My wife and I decided that we would have a better quality of life if we threw away the damn lot,
and said goodbye to modern technology.

Next morning, having slept on it, we decided we would dump the Kodak printer and buy a basic model, which we did yesterday.
We gave the Kodak printer away and bought a cheap HP one, which we are quite pleased with. After a goodnight's sleep, I feel
much better, and I won't be leaving you yet awhile (I hope).

Hope I havn't bored you - but it does help to get things off one's chest.

Have a nice day.
Aggers

My MIL has a new printer and last week I was round there *helping* her to scan photos into her laptop.............we tried for ages to get it to scan the blessed things, convinced it was broken, I then noticed we hadn't actually opened the printer programme on the laptop.................. :P
