Just had some sad news

Postby Kaz » 16 May 2016, 18:54

My Auntie Lilie died earlier today :( She was Uncle Eddy's (Dad's brother's) wife, whose funeral I went to about 18 months ago. She had been ill for some time and it was expected, but I have so many happy childhood memories that include her, as Mum, Dad, Uncle Eddy and Aunt Lilie were quite a foursome at one time and we went on holidays, and spent a lot of time with them. There were 6 children in the family so a lot of cousins to play with!

RIP Aunty Lilie xxxxx :( :(

Sorry to hear your sad news, Kaz.

We know such things are inevitable, but it is still so sad to lose a loved one.

Kaz I'm sorry to hear this. Having helped Mrs S losing the 3 closest people in her life I know it's sad and leaves you wishing she was there still. I know that Mrs S, even to this day, in an unguarded moment, will turn to say something to her father only to realise he's been gone for some 13 years.

Long illnesses are tragic and it's better to look on the positive and remember the good times.

Kaz so sorry to read this (((((((((((((((()))))))))))))

I have lost count of people I have heard lately who have died....on Friday I will be going to the funeral of a lovely man I knew many years ago (lost touch a little in recent years) who died last Wednesday following a massive heart attack, he was 55. And many more either through work or friends of friends. It's very sobering.
