Morning Ally and everyone

Thought I'd posted earlier - in fact I know I did

We're back to grey skies again   My fault, I rinsed out a lot of my summer clothes yesterday, think I'll pack them away again

Safe and pleasant journey to Di and Bb xx

Grumpy will be putting posts in today, around our veggie garden, and later in the week, we'll be fencing it .

Egg butties for brekkie and chicken curry for dinner, lovely :D :D :D

Have a food day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here.

It was lovely seeing my brother and little Ernie yesterday. Vivian went off with them around 4ish so now we have the house to ourselves we've been extremely lazy and had a nice long lie in. As we've been eating out most of this week the cupboards are almost bare so much as I hate shopping on a Sunday that's what we'll be doing as soon as we've had brekkie. No other plans for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)

Flown back, stopped for coffee with Bb's mum and dad after she collected us, stopped for shopping at Lidl, came home, had another coffee and a sausage roll - and it's still morning :D
The alarms did get us up at 3.45 Spanish time though ;)

It was absolutely fabulously fab to see Ally yesterday, in about her only spare few hours in the whole week :Hi:
We yacked for both England and Spain and for I'm sure the second time running, one second we had 45 minutes left before Ally's (hourly) bus, the next it was a race against time :D

Collecting Minnie after lunch :)

So glad you had a good holiday Di an Bb, an that you had a lovely meet up with Ally. Don't overdo it today trying to get all the washing etc done. Cling on to that lovely relaxed holiday feeling.

Good afternoon all.

We came back yesterday, after our five-day holiday in Liverpool. We had a really lovely
time. It was my first visit there, and I was truly amazed at what an amazing place it is.
We stayed at a hotel that was once the headquarters of the White Star shipping line, the
owners of the ill-fated Titanic. It has now been made into a super hotel resembling the
inside of the doomed ship. Most impressive, although the service was not that good.

It's nice to be back home. Hope you are all well, and have been behaving yourselves.

Evening all, been very busy today as it was a family celebration of my sister's 60th birthday, which is on next Wednesday. After months of inability to make a decision, she finally decided to have it in the pub next door to us. We actually offered to host it but she decided against that. My niece, her husband and their little boy Matt came from Cork for the day, my brother is still here after his Malta trip, a family member came over from England and there was Miss Osc and her family. We started off with Prosecco on our terrace, such a gorgeous day, then into the pub. The food was ok, and I had had a cake made, and it worked out well. The children all behaved brilliantly. Miss Osc, my sister and brother and English family member have gone out for "one drink" yeah  A nice day but these occasions wear me out!
