Saw Noah today

Postby Diflower » 10 May 2016, 20:08

He said he fancied taking his ark on a cruise, to those countries unaccustomed to rain - it follows him, you see, not the other way round ;)

We are growing webbed feet but having a (mostly!) lovely time :)
Yesterday got the train into Malaga, walked miles, to the port and beyond; had a really good tapas lunch, it stopped raining :Hi:
Last night went just over the road to the nearest chiringuito for gorgeous fish (and meat for Bb).
Today we got the train 2 stops the other way, into central Torremolinos (in the rain), then cooked here tonight.
It's not raining at the moment :D
Have been trying to post pics on fb but although the wifi is fine my phone won't connect to fb...
Not planned tomorrow yet but it may well involve buses instead of trains :D

Goodness Di - you don't expect a lot of rain in Spain do you? :( We get quite enough of it at home  Hopefully it will clear up before you come back xxx

I have no idea what you are on about.

Noah, webbed feet, Malaga, tapas, chiringuito, Torremolinos.

Sounds horrendous. Is it a Spain thing? ;)

And Portugal WM

We should have some decent weather by the week-end - but we've heard that before - several times

But the locals said that the English weather should be gone by then - presume they mean the rain

In the words of Eliza: The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain... or not as the case may be

Di, if it's any consolation it's been chucking it down here all week as well; at least over there you're relaxing and it's (hopefully? :? ) a bit warmer than here and you're enjoying fabulous food and lots of nice places to go to

We shouold be in Lisbon in a few days so we hope the rain has disapaered.
