New skirt

Postby Kaz » 05 May 2016, 18:03

from Tu :) It's long and in a dark blue 'batik' sort of pattern :) I wanted a long skirt for every day wear, the psoriasis on the front of my left leg is quite visible at the moment and I really don't want to wear a shorter skirt with bare legs, but don't want to be always in trousers :?

Here

It has a couple of little side splits, which should make it easy to walk in while still covering the front of my leg! It will need taking up though as it is LONG - the model in the link is 5ft 11 apparently and it reaches her ankles :o

That's nice :)
I'd probably just turn the waistband over, like we did at school

 Do you know Di, I did consider that, but I might want to sometimes wear it with a little tucked in vest tee, and it has a nice flat waistband so you can do that

*Tempted though* ;)

Thanks :) I know, the length thing is MAD! I'm slightly above average height at just under 5ft 7 and yet long skirts and dresses sweep the floor!

It works the other way too....I have long legs and a short(ish) skirt can be shorter than I was expecting! :D :D

I'm uber aware of getting older and not wanting to dress too young for my age...but Don (and my friends) say I look great in them. I feel good in them...and whilst feeling very ok wearing shorts and bare legs, with a short skirt I always team it with coloured tights and either bumpers or my DM's.

I really believe if you 'feel' good you look good.
