Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 30 Apr 2016, 05:49

Good morning.

Picking mum and dad up and taking them to the airport for their 10.50am flight. :( I always adore them being here but this holiday in particular has been even more joyous.
Safe flight folks and see you in July. xx

When I get home it's a quick coffee and breakfast then David'd picking me up - we're climbing the Sierra de Mijas mountain. :D :D

Off out for a few thirst quenching beers tonight. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally - safe travels home to your parents :( these weeks really have flown by. Hopefully a good yomp up a mountain will lift the spirits ((hug))

Vet visit first thing this morning, then meeting Nadine in town for a few bits and bobs and then dinner at a friend (another Nadine) later this evening... so a lovely day really. Blue skies and the sun is shining so good all round really

hope you all enjoy your days, whatever it is you're up to xxx

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Blue sky and sunshine this morning, but by heck, that's a cold wind

Safe journey home for your parents Ally xx July will soon be here here :D

We'll be doing more outside stuff this morning - never ending, this weeding lark   8-) - heading for the bar for the grocery run this afternoon and a bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing - including those daft enough to climb mountains ;) xx

Morning all :)

Hugs Ally ((((x)))) The time will fly. Enjoy your climb today :)

Have a good day Ria, hope one of the pusscats isn't unwell? xx

Morning Ton, enjoy the BBQ, glad it is warming up a bit :)

It's sunny here, but coldish again. Harry is here and wants to go to Carphone Warehouse to get a new phone. He's drawn out some of his (vast) savings to get one! Harry is definitely the best with money of my three, I think he has more money in the bank than I do :o     Then some lunch and the three of us will pop up and see D. Becky is working all day, then out this evening with friends, so we won't see her until tomorrow morning

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.

It looks a lovely morning here, but I'm not going out yet, as they say that the pollen
count is at it's highest in the early morning, and I've had my fill of pollen, thank you.
I've just been watching the blue tits having their breakfast at the fat ball on the tree
just outside our window. It's surprising how many different kinds of birds we see here.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Safe flight home for your parents Ally.

No noise for the next few days, we won't be seeing Terry until Tuesday so we'll be making the most of some nice quiet lie ins

Just the usual washing and house stuff today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, hope you have a great day with all your activities.

My journey continues. Yesterday I rode my Edinburgh bike into work in the snow. Today I rode the Brussels bike into a beautifully warm sunny day in Kent. What a contrast.

What can I say? The only good things so far out of this journey are the fact that my good friend got up an 04:15 and helped me get to my bike then gave me coffee before seeing me off at 06:00, H's Mega breakfast at Kent Motorcycles café (outstanding but don't tell Mrs S she'll kill me), plus the fact that the bike did a very fast and comfortable run from Brussels to the Tunnel at Calais. About the only fast part of the journey......  I'm sure I could have cycled it faster.

I still have to get back to Paris with the bike then back to Edinburgh to pick up the bike at the airport and get back to the apartment. Chances of that not being a disaster???

I won't update the journey more, enough of that is more than enough and it will just get boring, it's just more of the same in a different location..

Keep updating. I like to know it is not just me that these kind of things happen to.

Shame I am not still living in London, I could have given you a lift up to Edinburgh, though I am propbably not going until Monday instead of my original plan to go tomorrow.

However I have the Chimera of sorted travel. Been there before. At leas when the train stops I get off it and I'm on my own resources...
