I've decided

Postby tonicha » 26 Apr 2016, 20:49

to treat myself for my birthday ;) ;)

We're not going anywhere, it's going to be too hot and I hate, with a vengeance, my glasses frames.

So, I'm going to go all out and buy myself a properly fitting frame and a new pair of lenses.

It'll cost about 1,000 euros, but I'm so fed up having to catch the blasted things before they fall off or go wonky. The lenses have gone all marbley, so i have black and yellow to look through

Grumpy was having a moan about a the cost, but I pointed out that I'll be getting a pension in July - and it's mine, all mine

Cost 800€ last time Di and that was 4 years ago - but I did get 200€ off, as in vouchers for teh supermarket Continente. But we don't have them here, so it's either a trip down to the Algarve, fly over to England or bite the bullet and get the locally.

I'll check out prices first though.

I remember Gal saying that, for my prescription, the price I paid would be roughly the same as in England.

That definitely isn't good and can't be very comfy for wearing them either.

€1000 is a lot of money though, but worth it if it'll make such a difference x

I always read BOGOF ass bog-off.

I need a test too, I fear mine won't be straight forward.

$1000 in any currency is a lot! But I understand, my mums are around that just for the lenses.
