Suffice to say Don's glad to be home to the warmth.

I've a few errands to do this morning and then work 4 - 9.

My resident chef has promised a chicken (I don't do lamb ) tagine for dinner.

It will be some time before I post again as we are going to the Caribbean for another cruise. It will be good to get away from this wintery weather. The sun is shining but there are grey clouds
Finishing packing and then relaxing as we are up early tomorrow. Taxi is picking us up at 5.30 a.m

Ally, I can just imagine! I can tell you, we are never again missing out on our spring sunshine holiday, not for all the new carpets in the world We'd normally be off about now

I'm having my hair cut today, so Emma will be round at 12 D is feeling better, she was a lot more 'herself' yesterday so I feel fine about staying home today, although Mick and I might well pop round this evening after he finishes work. Becky will be home this afternoon, I spoke to her last night and things all went as well as is possible.

Are you having abnormally bad weather Ton or have you moved North? I can't recall where you said you'd moved to.

Our friends came back from a week in Portugal last week and said they'd been really cold.

Bright and sunny, but still very chilly.

More banging and noise here today, just as well it's weekly shopping day and we'll be off to M&S and Tesco after brekkie

I don't do lamb either Ally.

I'm out to Margate with the ladies this evening, it's a Michael Buble tribute night with a three course dinner. Tbh the entertainment and food is a bonus, there will be 26 of us so it's more a girls night out, the last one was great fun

Apart from the far south, where we moved from , the whole country is having a very long, cold and very wet and windy winter/spring.

Although the spring flowers are out, I've put on a t-shirt under my sweatshirt again this morning

We've moved less than an hours drive from the coast and it really shouldn't make that much difference

Even the locals are saying that this has been a bad year, hence the sheep only being shorn this week, rather than last month.
