And a flipping freezing one it is too - for heavens sake can't we start Spring one day soon?
I've been hoping to get some gardening done since we had the wooden edging bits put in, but have only managed one session, I only do fair weather gardening

Bb's knee has 'gone' again, hopefully caught it early enough to stop it in its tracks this time; our Gp's very good and left out a prescription yesterday afternoon, since they know what sorted it out last time. But it means he's 'in the way' even more

Gosh Osc I bet you were all discombobulated!

Kaz that's a worry about D, do hope she's ok today; presumably you could have her at your house tomorrow if you're still not sure about leaving her alone?

Fine atm, but we've had a very heavy snow shower or two during the morning and it's very very cold!! It better warm up before Saturday! I'm working on my own today, someone is on holiday which means Jan has been sent to where he normally is on Tuesdays....been pretty busy up to now, hopefully won't be TOO bad this aftie

Ooo heck I'm sending get well vibes for D, hope she is ok and I know you will be looking after her well Kaz xx Sad time for B, funerals are not nice and she's not long been to another one, has she? Jen was saying last week that Neil's was the first one of a close relative that she'd been to.... upsetting for people.

She's back at work this week after a five week holiday! Tonight she is going to her b/f to eat with him and she'll be back tomorrow some time, so we'll have to fend for ourselves on the food front

Thank you everyone, for the good wishes and kind words. We've had a very quiet day up at D's, she is ok but very tired and she dropped off in the chair once or twice this afternoon. I heated up soup for lunch - shop bought but still very tasty I am shattered though on so few hours sleep, I feel rather hung over I think she will be fine, but she isn't allowed to drive until she has had a certain outpatient appointment, which isn't going down too well as you can imagine I will be going up there if she needs company, as she's far more at ease in her own place, and I don't mind. I can also fetch her bits of shopping if she needs anything but I did check the fridge and freezer and she is well stocked for now

I need an early night, as does Mick - we are having an easy dinner, I'm having a jacket spud and salad and Mick is having a curry from the freezer
