Sheep shearing

Never watched it "live" before but went down to the bar earlier and in the field opposite, there were 3 men, shearing all the local sheep

They were coming from all directions - the sheep, that is - and watching them bound around afterwards was very funny

Some were completely flummoxed and a couple wandered up the road, with Jose in hot pursuit

I love a good haircut... but often wander up the road flummoxed over what has just happened.

Haircut? I am sure I went in for something else ...

The chemist's was shut.

I've always thought it must feel lovely for them, those fleeces are ginormous

It must be a relief to get rid of all that wool, rather like us going from winter woollies to light clothes if I can remember that far back!

Have still got a set of shears which belonged to my grand- father.He was a farmer in Wales. They are good for trimming grass.
Isn't there a competition in Australia who can shear the most sheep in a given time?

They were getting through an awful lot of sheep

And one bloke - Antonio - was in charge of pi8cking up the fleece, buy the look of it. As most Portuguese are quite small, he was struggling a bit

And in NZ too . In fact I think we beat the Aussies hands down. Or is that wool down?
