The Paris climate deal ...

Postby Workingman » 23 Apr 2016, 17:32

... is signed, sealed and, er ... well, it is signed.

It is not binding, it is voluntary. It has to be debated and ratified by governments in all the signatory countries, and all countries then have to agree to it. There will be horse trading over who does what, and when. Then they will have another meeting, just to make sure.

Despite all the hype I am not overly optimistic that much will change.

El Nino aside, the year on year CO2 rise for 2015 is the highest we have ever seen.

Glad to know that the accords are working.... NOT!!!
