Next VV meet at yours I think.... the garden is more than big enough to accommodate a few tents :D Could you hire a porta loo or two?

Yes we are. Some of the rooms were receiving their first repaint in 15 years ....
Nothing exotic - all woodwork, doors, ceilings and rads brilliant white, kitchen and utility brilliant white, everything else magnolia!
I think I recall the hourly rate you (it was you, wasn't it, Meriad?) were going to be charged, and our guy charged double that.
But it's been done to a very good standard.

Behind the nearest tree????

We might disturb the sheep! :D

I'm pleased :D Admittedly I'm not much further with mine. One of the reasons he is as 'reasonable' as he is, is because I'm happy to fit in between his normal bigger jobs; so I'm filling a gap for him really. But turns out that he doesn't have all that many gaps and is actually quite busy. So so far we've done the bedroom only and hopefully next weekend he'll do the bathroom.

I then am going to struggle a bit with money so in the hope that we get our bonus - once I have that I'm going to offer him his usual rate and ask that he finishes it all off in one go

Fingers crossed

And Ton - glad you're asking where to put the Port 'a Loo - does that mean it's a yes? :D

Of course :D :D :D :D :D

And sheep? Not until the winter, so no worries about them.

Seriously - if any of you fancy a breakette, let me know, you're more than welcome.

The upside is meeting Grumpy
