After a beautiful sunny day yesterday it rained all night. Seems dry at the moment, but a bit dull. Hope it stays that way as the builder is due here any minute. Think the next couple of days is pulling things down.

Not sure what we're doing yet, depends on what/if he needs us to do anything.

We've had the rain, very dark clouds and now have bright blue sky and a few fluffy white clouds

More rain is forecast - for the next week - but I'll settle for what we have now. So outside work again today - no need to do any watering

Hope it's not too messy Jen - I have that pleasure in a few weeks too

Out for dinner tonight, unless if we have a thunderstorm.

A lovely sunny day promised, but with the chance of the odd rain fall - I can handle that....

good luck with the builder Jen - it really will be worth the mess when it's all done; have they said how long they're expecting it to be?
Ton, is the weather pattern where you are now different to where you were (despite it not being that far away but obviously higher up)? But as you say - make the most of the fact that you don't have to do any waterign

Usual work day for me then off to Tesco tonight to pick up bits and bobs for myself as well as Karl, Nadine and family. They come back from their holiday in SA tomorrow morning so I said I'd get them the bare essentials so they have food in the house. They've been gone 3 weeks now; and dare I say I'll be very happy to have them back home; I did miss them loads

We're all having a long, cold, wet and snowy winter Ria Snow further oop north again today and strong winds for the whole of the country.

We knew it would b colder in the winter and hotter in the summer, also a slightly shorter summer, but this is the longest and coldest winter we've had here for over 30 years
