The washing machine is in - took about 20 minutes total for the guy to remove old one, get new one in and set it up for initial plain wash
He just turned off the old hot hose, disconnected it and left it there - fine with us, we can just tape it to the top of the cupboard out of the way
And one lot of washing done - quick wash, 14 minutes
Then dry, which is so much more like proper tumble drying, although not the same.
So far, so chuffed
