Good Morning Thursday

Postby Kaz » 07 Apr 2016, 07:34

Morning everyone :)

Cold and grey here this morning, might brighten up a bit later! I was thinking of taking the winter duvet off this weekend, but I think I'll wait a while. Ditto putting all my jumpers away, if I do we are bound to get snow

Harry is going back to his dad's tonight, it's been lovely having him here even if the circumstances haven't been the best. Both kids spoke to their stepgran last night, she is doing ok and was pleased to hear from them.

I'm going to do a food shop today, we won't get a chance on Sunday as we are going out to lunch with friends. Otherwise nothing much planned.

Have a good day :) xx

Houseworkery stuff for me, not that that will take long   then it's gardening duties again.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

The day started off sunny but it's gone overcast and the wind is really nippy. No sitting in the garden for us quite yet Ally - it really feels like it's been a super long winter and I'm beyond done with this rubbish meh weather. Roll on that sunshine!

Whatever you do Kaz - step away from that cupboard; the jumpers are just fine where they are and can stay there all the way through to 1st December

Ton, I've been meaning to ask for ages; I know you've got Maria who comes over with her sheep, but are you and Grumpy thinking of getting any animals yourself; ie chickens or anything? That truly would be "The Good Life" then, wouldn't it - and my idea of heaven :D

Aggers, hope you and Mrs A enjoy your day, whatever it is you end up doing

Usual work day and evening home for me

Have a lovely day all x

That's a no Ria

Next door have quite enough

Jose asked us last night, as he's coming up to look at the cork oaks over the week-end, if we have any dogs. Only because just about every-one else does. As he said, he doesn't wnt to open the gate and be confronted with a massive dog

And also, if we want to go away, we can, without any worry or fuss about who will feed the chickens, ducks, geese, llamas ;)

And the sun is now burning the mist off :D :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment.

Nothing exciting happening here today, after brekkie we're off out to M&S and Tesco for the usual weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

 Ria I have to swap my clothes around twice a year and store in the vac bags - I don't have enough space for all of my clothes in the wardrobe at the same time   So we'll have to risk it at some point!

Morning Ton, Llamas sound fun, oh go on, you know you want to!! Think of the hours of comedy you'd be providing for us :P ;)

Blows ginormous raspberry @ Ally ;) :D

Morning Aggers :)

Evening :) Usual Thursday with the children. Kellie was in great form, she has so many words now, told me to put a nappy on Mr Osc's ManU teddy bear  Michael was thrilled to bits with the Real Madrid Ronaldo strip we bought for him in Portugal and couldn't wait to show it to his Mummy and Daddy. They are such a joy, even if we are exhausted at the end of the day! It was bright but cold today, with some heavy showers. Hope everyone else has had a good day :)

Hi all - busy day for me today!

GPs first at 9.30 - BP taken, it's not bad, but could be better  So I'm to go back in two weeks for another check and then possibly see the doctor again (it was the nurse today) Called in to work to have a quick conflab with Jan as I've not seen her this week. Stayed an hour   Went to do the grocery shopping, put petrol in the car and managed a coffee with a piece of ginger and lemon cheesecake (lunch!) before heading home to put the shopping away and get ready for my afternoon being Gran 8-)

Had a lovely couple of hours - though tiring - before D called for them at 5, we couldn't really go anywhere as it was sunny one minute and hailstoning the next, poor Lewis struggled a bit as he was bored and had hoped to go to the park but I couldnt take them out in the car as T has Lily's car seat in his car

When he came home from work we took the dogs out and got SOAKED!! I had wellies on as the route is always muddy, it was a river today! I jumped in the bath when I got home and Jen cooked - finally having a minute on here 8-)

Osc Lily isn't really talking much atm, although she says Gandad a LOT and mam and dad, she can manage Gran now and cat, hat etc. You can make out "there he is" and "gone" and "one more" which means she wants some of what you have!!  It's lovely seeing them come along so well isn't it?

Kaz I am the same as far as a summer and winter wardrobe is concerned! Currently summer stuff is under the bed......
