A duck went flying

Postby tonicha » 05 Apr 2016, 19:23

over our fence and into our garden :o      A black and white one :?

We don't have next doors phone number but knew they have ducks, geese, goats and chickens.

Tried shouting over the fence - all that happened was the dogs barked louder

So I tried to point the duck in the right direction, as in, down our track. Dafty thing kept trying to get through the fence.

Eventually Brian, he who won't look you in the eye when he speaks to you, came over and I told him. Stupid man tried to climb over the (barbed) wire fence

But he collected his duck and told his wife to give the lady their phone number in case it happened again.

This is our closest neighbour :? :? :? Nice man? no. His wife is lovely and she and I had a half hour chat, swopped phone numbers and e-mails and gossip ;)

And a shot gun for our neighbour - he really is a very rude and unfriendly man

They have 4 rescue dogs -not a problem with us -. but the boxer is a complete nightmare - charges the fence every time we go any where near it - and it's our fence  His head comes straight through :o :o And I like boxers, normally.

All I got from him this morning was " come on George, bikkie"

No good morning or sorry

It must be the name. I have a cousin called Brian and he is a right aerosol. His wife, Theresa, is lovely and very easy going.... but then she has to be to put up with him.

I hope the duck was OK, I like ducks. :D
