Lilly and k got back home after staying in London will day
So it was 7ish she went to the loo
And toilet wouldn't stop filling up
Water everywhere
She panics rings her dad who has just got home lives in the sticks
Rings here landlord who trys to get an emergency plumber r no joy
Son gets there can't find the stopcock and it's dark outside in the terrace
At11 tonight's he goes home
And a plumber was on his way
Poor k already shattered . And worried
Lilly went to bed early and missed it

Her bathroom is downstairs of the kitchen with a step down to it and a little hall way to the back door
It's an old 2bed terrace house in a little tiny street of a busy main road
I only know my water stopcock  s under the sink
You just take it for granted when you switch the tap on

We had a blocked toilet about three years ago. Found out about 2 p.m on a Friday afternoon.
We are covered for this on our house insurance policy. Phoned insurance company. Had a phone call from a company who were coming to deal with it. They arrived at 4.00 p.m and it was over an hour before the blockage was cleared and the toilet was flushing correctly.
No charge as the cost was below value shown on the policy when we would have had to pay.
Not had any problems since.
