Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 20 Mar 2016, 07:13

Good morning.

Mostly sunshine forecast and nice and warm. 8-)

Like all towns in Spain, ours has been totally consumed with Semana Santa; anyone who can will be out again today watching the elaborate processions and be swept up with the enormity of it all.

Everyone seems to get involved and there's a real air of 'something' in the air. :D :D

We'll be spectators again today...I absolutely love all the traditions and celebrations. :D :D

We'll have lunch out too...everywhere will be busy but plenty of tables outside. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally.
Cloudy but warmer than it has been as there is no wind.
Have walked to get the paper.
Will clean the inside of the car. There seems to be some white dust on all the level surfaces.
Then just pottering again.
Have a good day everybody

Good morning you three :D
Ally, same as you I just love the traditions various countries have. Such fun to be able to be able to sit and watch and just absorb everything

Aww, Saundra, poor Lilly. It sounds like they had a wonderful time which is really lovely. It will be along journey back for them.
Cruiser, when you're done with you car - want to come do mine? The inside could do with a clean :)
Ton, I quite like thunderstorms - they really clear the air. Hope you have some good soaking rain and no torrential downpours. Enjoy the gardening whilst you can

I'm going to give the house a super quick clean as I may have friends pop by later. They're coming up from just past Winchester and we (they, Karl & Nadine and kids and I) are having lunch in Woking; so said friends may meet us at the restaurant or come here first - all depends on how their morning goes (they have a 4 year old daughter so anything can happen  )

That's all I have planned for today

Oh and look.... we have a friend who has joined the original two. I've got this coming week off to work in the garden so guess I'll be making sure I've got a few more hedgehog size gaps under the fence. At the moment there is only one under the back fence and one by the gate. Just love watching their shenanigans :D

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning everyone :)

Ally, enjoy the celebrations :) xx

Morning Cruiser :) Morning Ton :)

Awwww poor Lilly, that's the downside of an amazing holiday, the sadness at having to come home. Bless her! :) xxx

Have a great time with your friends Ria, and it's lovely to see the piggies doing so well! :D

Having a quieter day here after a really super birthday yesterday :) Mick and I are popping out to Morrison's soon, then rushing back to make lunch so Hannah can eat with us before she goes home. Later we have plenty 'saved' to watch, including last week's Night Manager 8-) 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bit grey, but nice and dry.

We've only just surfaced so when E gets out of the shower and goes out for the papers we'll be having a very late brekkie. We had a good evening, just 5 couples this time, think some stayed in to watch the sport, so not my thing at all  Tbh it's sometimes nicer to be in a smaller group, more sociable really although we do like the big do's too.

No plans, cooking a rotisserie chicken for dinner later and that's about the full extent of my efforts today

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, just, although we have been up since 9am and that was a bit late. We are double dancing today - first of all this afternoon, then straight on to another social this evening - I've bought a stretchy ankle support thing!! It has been a long time since we went to two dances in one day :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all.

We've been our usual brisk walk in town this morning, but didn't buy much.
It was dull and cold, but the sun has come out now. Lunch nearly ready.

Have a good day everybody
