Tis splendid again. 8-)

Now that I have the car back again I'm going to drive to Playamar and have a walk along the coast for a couple of hours. :D

How lovely!

Grey and foggy here....I have to do my weekly grocery shop and some housey stuff, Lewis is sleeping here tonight, he's not done that in yonks so will be nice.

Oh and this aft I am having my old gas boiler removed and the hole bricked up (it's in the garage) and then the plumber is going to make it so the tumble drier vent passes through the hole so I don't have to leave the garage door open when I have the tumbler on :D It's the little things......

Good morning Ally & Gal,
A lovely sunny morning but it has been cold as I have seen someone defrosting their car when I got up.
Some shopping this morning then just pottering. May do some gardening as I can see a few weeds growing where I want to plant flowers.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Started out bright blue sky and sunshine, we now have grey clouds

Back to the brambles this morning  and other overgrown stuff by the fencing. Grumpy is going to prep more garden for veggies :D :D

Talking to people yesterday, they were saying that this is the coldest start to the year for a long time - we're about 5C below what it normally is  but by next week, we should be back to normal - warmer

The sign man is due later this afternoon, so hopefully we can agree on the sign and where it's going ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you lot - a bright but cold day here. It was really foggy when I left the house but the closer I got to London the skies cleared and now it's just hazy. The sun is trying to break through and the forecast for the week is quite a bit of sunshine - I'm not complaining

Enjoy your walk Ally
Gal, I totally get you with those little things. But they do make such a difference don't they :) And enjoy having Lewis over tonight
Ton, good luck with the sign - looking forward to the photo when it's done and in place.
Cruiser enjoy your pottering in the garden - hope you get done what you want to

Usual work day for me and then past Tesco on the way home to buy groceries for tomorrow - I've got people coming over for dinner.

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :) Beautiful sunshine here, it's a lovely spring day :D

Ally that sounds like a plan :D

Gal, it definitely is the little things in life - sounds good to me ;) :D 8-)

Good luck with the new sign Ton :)

Morning Cruiser :)

Hi Ria, I'm glad your fog cleared, the forecast for the weekend looks much better than it has been! :D 8-)

Well, it's Friday again and Mick has the day off, so despite my dodgy sinuses we are off out to enjoy the sunshine! I've dosed myself up with paracetemol    This is his last Friday off using up AL, as next week he is short staffed and the following Friday is the Bank Holiday. I will miss our Fridays! Becky got home ok last night, it had been a long sad day but she was ok, and back to work this morning.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Had a good time last night, it was very entertaining and not just the singers

Expecting Sky again this morning. The mini box in our bedroom isn't showing a power light, it seems to be working okay, but I rang them anyway as we don't want it to suddenly stop. They say it should be fine, but it's better to replace it with another box. Hopefully this visit should be quick and easy.

When he's been we need to pop out for some more fruit, honestly we could open our own shop the amount we eat  It's such a beautiful day so providing the sun stays like this it will be nice to have a stroll around the harbour while we're there.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I hope that will be the last you see of the Sky engineer for a good while - what a saga that has been for you!

Morning :)

Gosh it's lovely! After very thick fog it's blue, blue sky and bright sunshine :D
Glad you had a good time Jen :)
Looking forward to seeing the sign Ton, it'll be properly yours then :D
Gal those kind of little things do make such a difference! :)

Bb's out working, then we have to go to the hospital, but hopefully plenty of time for a scenic drive homewards and maybe a tea and cake stop ;) :)
And yesterday was Minnie's 10th birthday, can you believe it when she was so ill, at death's door for months :D
Those on fb will have seen pics, she has a lovely smart new collar and lead, plus a new Nylabone :)
Hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather

Now where did that morning go :? It is fairly dull here, I have washing out but can't imagine it will dry very much. Been pottering around doing various bits and pieces, off out now to make a hair appointment and take out some money in the post. After lunch, I'll head off to the nearest shopping centre for a few things I can't get locally or in Lidl. Di, saw the pics of Minnie on FB, she looks great! Enjoy your day everyone :)
